Winter 2011

The winter weather is starting to settle in.  What most people dont know, is that some consistant cold weather can mean some fantastic fishing is upon us.  The reds are going to be roaming the flats in their big winter schools.  The bonitas will be crashing bait in the pass and along the beaches.  Flounder can be caught around the inshore wrecks, and the trout have moved into the deep creeks and canals.  If you want to experience some inshore winter action, put on your jacket and give us a call!

Fall 2011

This is the time of year we have been waiting for.  The water is cooling and the weather is BEAUTIFUL!  The reds in the backcountry are in perfect little schools from 5-15 fish.  The beach is covered up with bonitas.  If you want to hear some drag scream on a flyreel, this is the time.  The flounder bite has turned on in a big way.  If you have never been to the beach in the fall, you are missing out.

Late Summer 2011

The tarpon are finished for the year.  We are mainly sight fishing Redfish and fishing livebaits for a wide variety of fish.  Lots of big Spanish and King Mackerel, Trout, Redfish, and Bluefish.  The reds on the flats are starting to school up for the fall!  The fall redfishing is something that a lot of people miss out on, so come on down if you can. Thanks to everybody that fished with us this summer, we hope yall have as many great memories as we do.

Summer 2011  (7-01-2011) The weather has stabilized and the tarpon fishing is red hot!

With water temps in the low 80's everything is here.  Tarpon are showing up in good numbers and the Tripletail are here.  There are some huge schools of Jacks on the beach that we are catching on topwaters and popper flies. The night Redfish bite is in full swing, and we have been catching some nice Trout and Flounder on bucktail jigs and bull minnows.  If you are in the Panama City area and want to catch some fish, come get in on the action!

Spring 2011 -The Night Redfishing is on FIRE.  We just had a 20 fish night on Fly.

-Schools of Jacks are patrolling the beaches.  Redfish are everywhere from the beaches to the backcountry marshes.  The Cobia and spanish are here.  The Trout have moved back on the flats.  Spring fishing around Panama City Beach is hard to beat.
